On a lovely 15 mile (!) hike with a good friend yesterday I learned about feedback. Specifically, that some folks seek it and some don’t.
I do.

I also learned that feedback is a gift, because it helps us grow, and know we are not alone.
The web is a public medium, and I’m trying to do something a little different than ‘the usual.’ More than writing, I’m attempting to communicate from a whole human self; my head, heart and soul and those aspects I can’t clearly identify. Some aspects of all of us arise in stories and emotion, and are stirred by art. Some are messy and contradictory. Can the web hold it all?
And yes, it is a mess that hopefully transcends.
I consider myself to be an old-style artisan on the web. In the days of quickening AI and artificial and enhanced content, I wonder, can you feel this?
I’d love to know if the work here touches you, helps you, or informs you in any way. Any particular themes shine through for you?
I’m also open to hearing constructive feedback: how I could make my work better? Are the non-proofread passages deal-breakers? Is more professional polish important here? Can you see through the non-standard parts to the meaning underneath? The links, tags, unusual pairings, subscripts, and funky footnoting are purposeful, but maybe distracting? Does pop culture and swearing interfere with the message? Do I need to include more standard-style personal content to make this more relatable?
What speaks to you? Even what annoys you is fine too.
And, what would you like to see more of here?
Thank you so much for your time.
