We need to face this
We need to decide
we are better than this
we can be dignified.

No alpha male, no killing, no social media posts
No marketing coup, no glitz, no logic or wealth will make this right.
No government, politic, militant, group or justice…
We must care for each other. We must stand for something better.

Children dying. People without care or concern live and rationalize.
Still other people dropping bombs and closing doors.
Others still crying.

We can’t be right. We can love. We are smart enough, grown enough and it is time.
If we don’t, we perish. I don’t care if you care. I do. We must choose now.

No one can get out of zero-sum craziness alive.
No one’s children do either. Not even behind the gilded gates of wealth and privilege.

Not one fucking ideology makes it. Not one.

Our earth deserves our thoughtful compassion. So do each of us humans and animals here.
Love by our religions points us to how.
Games with lives and resources are done. Wrong. Teenager bullshit. Winning ain’t anything. There is no such thing when there is suffering.

Yeah, there are issues.
