Much of what is going on is early-stage dictatorship where people are used as pawns, and power is consolidated by bold, outrageous action. If you don’t think your person-hood is also in jeopardy, think again.

If this were a high school, you would call the use of family separations as a ‘deterrent’ or a way to force a bargain with congress “a dick move.”

Except that it’s worse that that. Innocent children are suffering, daily, by the thousands at the hands of every Trump voter who doesn’t speak against this.

Do not let the talking points and terrible deeds of cruel individuals shade even the simplest of facts. Do not let it kill your soul. That is all you have.
